Recent snowfalls from the sou easterly storm cycle have delivered 170cm of snow to Mt Hutt ski area. we caught up with David Wilson the ski area manager to find out about their plans to open 2 weeks earlier than scheduled on 30 May, the first May openiong in more than a decade.
